What is COVID-19 Vaccine?

COVID-19 vaccines protect against severe disease. WHO now focuses COVID-19 vaccination on the people at highest risk of severe illness, who may need a repeat dose over time.

Dosage and schedule

For people at higher risk, WHO advises repeat vaccination over time; your doctor can advise on timing. Saudi Arabia currently requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Hajj.

Common reactions

Precautions

When to seek help

  • Seek care for chest pain, a racing heartbeat, difficulty breathing or swelling of the face or throat after vaccination.
