Quick answers
Short answers to common questions
What is the routine vaccination schedule in Pakistan?
Pakistan's Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) schedules routine childhood vaccines from birth through 15 months. The timeline on this page lists each visit and the doses due at that age, with a link to the detail page for every vaccine.
Do I have to pay for routine childhood vaccines?
Vaccination is free at government EPI centres across Pakistan. Vaccine Universe is an information platform and does not administer vaccines; use the schedule here to know what is due, then visit your nearest EPI centre or your own clinician.
Which reactions after vaccination are normal?
Mild fever, soreness at the injection site, and reduced appetite for a day or two are common and expected. Seek medical care promptly for a high or persistent fever, a seizure, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or if your child becomes unusually drowsy or unresponsive.
What if my child missed a scheduled dose?
Catch-up is usually possible. Do not restart the series -- a missed dose generally means resuming from where you stopped. Timing depends on your child's age and record, so confirm the catch-up plan with a doctor or your EPI centre.
How do I speak to a doctor?
Message us on WhatsApp. A certified doctor with global vaccine experience will respond and can advise on schedules, missed doses, reactions, travel requirements, and records.
Where does this information come from?
Every vaccine page cites its source, names the reviewing doctor, and shows the date it was last reviewed. Our sources are Pakistan's EPI and the World Health Organization. This site offers general education and does not replace a personal consultation.
How much does a consultation cost?
A consultation with the doctor costs Rs. 1,500.
How do I pay for a consultation?
Message us on WhatsApp. Before your consultation starts, we share how to pay the Rs. 1,500 fee by JazzCash.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in the situations set out in our Refund Policy, for example when a consultation can't go ahead.
Can I use Urdu?
Yes. You can write to us and speak to the doctor in English or Urdu.
